Snow Reporter Comments: Big D Park Today, Blue Ribbon Tomorrow!
It's been a great few days since the snow fell on Tuesday, and it looks like we are in for another few really good ones before the next system moves in on Monday.
The stars are out, the wind is a light north-westerly and it should stay fine and sunny as we head for a top of 5 degrees. Although the temp was above zero all night, the humidity stayed low so the snow guns have been able to keep pumping it out.
The last few days has seen more runs groomed and more of the off piste terrain open, and we'll keep on with that theme over the next couple of days. The Big D Lift and Park is set to open once the final preparations have been completed this morning, and Blue Ribbon will be open for the weekend!
An awesome result for the 2nd week of the season. The groomers should be in top shape this morning, and there are plenty of off piste zones that are also skiing and riding well. Slap on the screen and get out there.
Cheers Bill
